Guinness World Records (GWR) has dismissed claims linking it to a controversial attempt by Nigerian content creator, Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, popularly known as Mandy Kiss, who announced plans to “take in 100 men in one day.”
The self-acclaimed “President of Olosho” had revealed on Instagram that she intended to carry out the act on October 30 in Ikorodu, Lagos.
A flier shared online, which bore the GWR logo, claimed the event was an official record attempt.
But in response, Guinness World Records distanced itself, stressing that the stunt does not fall within its scope of recognition.
The organization posted on its official X handle on Tuesday, saying: “This is not a record we monitor.”
Mandy Kiss’ post has since triggered mixed reactions across social media, with many Nigerians expressing shock at her audacity. While some accused her of using the GWR brand to chase clout, others questioned the morality and legality of such a public declaration.
The content creator, known for her bold and controversial lifestyle, has continued to stir conversations online, with her planned October event facing strong criticism.
