Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has expressed his condolences to the Minister of State for Health, Mr. Isiaq Salako, over the passing of his mother, Alhaja Fadilat Anike Salako, who died at the age of 95.

In a heartfelt tribute, Abiodun acknowledged the deep pain of losing a mother, regardless of age, but emphasized that her ripe old age was a testament to a life well lived and blessed by the grace of God.

“The loss of one’s mother is always a profound and emotional experience. However, Mama’s legacy is evident in the distinguished sons and daughters she raised, who will continue to uphold her values for generations to come,” Abiodun said.

He highlighted the spiritual significance of Alhaja Salako’s passing during the holy month of Ramadan, noting that it was a divine indication of her acceptance into the bosom of Almighty Allah.

“Mama’s departure while observing her fast in this sacred period is deeply symbolic. It is a sign that Almighty Allah has received her in His infinite mercy,” the governor added.

The governor further described Alhaja Salako as a devoted mother and a woman of deep faith, whose commitment to her family and community would be fondly remembered.

“She was a pillar of strength, a gift from Almighty Allah, and she will be sorely missed. May Allah grant her Aljanah Firdaus and give the Salako family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss,” he concluded.
