The National Youth Service Corps has fixed Thursday, December 18, 2025, for the passing-out of Corps Members of the 2024 Batch C Stream II.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.
She explained that the management has concluded plans for a modest ceremony that will take place across all local government areas, where Certificates of National Service will be presented to eligible Corps Members.
The statement noted that activities ahead of the exercise include Job Advisory and Counselling sessions organised by the Corps and its partner agencies, along with the signing of final clearance forms supervised by Zonal Inspectors.
“The NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wishes the Corps Members a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise,” the statement read.
Corps Members were urged to allow the values and discipline of the Scheme guide them in their post-service life and to continue to uphold the image of NYSC wherever they find themselves.
The NYSC, established in 1973, runs a one-year compulsory service programme designed to promote national unity. It includes an orientation camp phase, primary assignment, and community development activities aimed at improving host communities.
