The traditional ruler of Ikeji-Ile in Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State, Oba Adebayo Ayegbo Ogunmokun, is dead.
The respected monarch, known for his dedication to peace, unity, and the development of his people, passed away after years of service to the Ikeji-Ile community and the Ijesa North Federal Constituency.
His death has thrown the town into mourning, with residents and leaders paying tribute to his impactful reign.
“Kabiyesi was more than a king; he was a father to all. His wisdom and leadership will never be forgotten,” a community elder said.
