As Muslims across the country mark this year’s Eid-el-Adha, the Ogun State Commissioner for Sports Development, Hon. Wasiu Isiaka, has extended heartfelt greetings to the Muslim faithful, commending them for their steadfastness in faith and their contributions to societal development.

In a statement issued by his media office on Wednesday, Isiaka described Eid-el-Adha as a significant celebration that calls for reflection on the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, and devotion.

According to him, “Eid-el-Adha is a significant event that reminds us of the importance of faith and spirituality in our lives. It is a moment that calls us to renew our commitment to peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and selflessness in service to humanity.”

“We recognize the contributions of our Muslim brothers and sisters to the development of our society, and we wish them a joyous and peaceful Eid-el-Adha celebration,” Isiaka added.

While praying that the season would draw families and communities closer together, he expressed hope that the celebration would strengthen the bonds of friendship and communal harmony across the state.

“May Allah accept the sacrifices and prayers of our Muslim faithful and grant them peace, prosperity, and good health now and always,” the Commissioner concluded.
