Melody 107.7FM Lagos has announced the appointment of Mr. Fisayomi Ajibola, popularly known as Perfect, as its new General Manager, ushering in what the station describes as “a new dawn” of innovation and leadership.
The appointment was made public in a formal introduction by the station’s management, issued on behalf of the Chairman, Prophet Adebayo Samuel Ojo; the Managing Director, Mrs. Folasade Ojo; the Board Chairman, Mr. Kunle Babarinde; as well as the entire board, management, and staff of the station.
“We are delighted to introduce to you all our new General Manager, Mr. Fisayomi Ajibola, also known as Perfect. This is a new dawn, and we urge our listeners, partners, and stakeholders to expect new changes,” the station said in a statement.
The leadership of Melody FM emphasized that Ajibola’s appointment signals a fresh chapter in the station’s journey to becoming a more vibrant, people-driven, and innovative media house.
While the specifics of the upcoming changes were not immediately disclosed, internal sources suggest that Mr. Ajibola will spearhead new programming strategies, audience engagement initiatives, and digital expansion.

The station also called on the public to warmly welcome the new GM as he takes on his new role.
