The Assistant General Manager (General Duties) of Rockcity FM 101.9 Abeokuta, Mr. Oludare Adedotun, has been officially inducted as an Associate Registered Member of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON).
Adedotun, who is also the Founder of Tripod Media, the owner of TripodTV, received the honor during the ARCON 2025 induction ceremony held on Thursday at the L’eola Hotel, Maryland Estate, Lagos.
Speaking at the event, the Director-General of ARCON, Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo, charged the inductees to embrace the highest level of professionalism in their various fields.
According to him, “The industry needs professionals who will uphold integrity, ethics, and standards in advertising practices. We expect you to be ambassadors of truth, fairness, and excellence in your work.”
In his response, Mr. Adedotun expressed gratitude for the recognition, pledging to remain committed to professionalism and ethical standards in the media space.
“Becoming a registered member of ARCON is not just an achievement but a responsibility. I am committed to promoting integrity in advertising and communication, and I will continue to ensure that my platforms uphold the values of honesty, responsibility, and professionalism,” he stated.
Adedotun, who also founded the Integrity Campaign Club, is a graduate of Communication Technology from Lagos State University, Ojo.
He is a seasoned broadcast journalist, cinematographer, award-winning author, serial entrepreneur, and humanist.
