According to the government, the solar-powered lights will provide round-the-clock illumination, discouraging criminal activities and creating a safer environment for residents and commuters.

Speaking on the development, a government official stated, “We are committed to improving security across Ogun State. The installation of these lights at the Sagamu Interchange is part of our proactive measures to protect lives and property.”

The government further urged the public to cooperate with security agencies to sustain peace and development in the state.

“Security is a collective responsibility. We encourage residents to support ongoing efforts by reporting suspicious activities and working closely with law enforcement,” the official added.
