The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has felicitated the Oluwo of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu I, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.

In a congratulatory message issued by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, on Saturday in Osogbo, Governor Adeleke praised the traditional ruler for his passionate commitment to the growth and transformation of Iwoland, describing him as a monarch with a strong sense of vision and purpose.

“Oluwo is a visionary leader, and his steadfast pursuit of a virile and prosperous Iwoland is truly inspiring,” the Governor said.

Governor Adeleke acknowledged Oba Akanbi’s efforts in leveraging his influence and resources to attract development to Iwoland, noting that the town has witnessed notable progress under his leadership. He also lauded the monarch for his collaboration in promoting good governance and unity across the state.

“On this day, I honour Kabiyesi’s exceptional contributions to the promotion of our tradition and the endearing effort in fostering peace and harmony in Iwoland and Osun State as a whole,” the statement added.

The Governor prayed for long life, good health, and greater wisdom for the monarch, while expressing confidence in his continued service to the people.

“It is my prayer that Kabiyesi’s new age brings him more joy and abundant blessings. I also beseech God Almighty to give him more grace to continue his life of service and impact,” Adeleke said.
