The Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa, His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Dr. Akeem Ogungbangbe, has extended warm felicitations to the Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Owa Obokun Adimula, Ajimoko III, on the occasion of his 77th birthday.
Oba Ogungbangbe, who is also the Rotational Vice Chairman of the Osun State Council of Obas and immediate past Chairman of the Ijesa North Council of Obas, described Oba Haastrup as a revered monarch whose reign has been marked by wisdom, dignity, and an unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of Ijesaland.
He praised the monarch’s dedication to cultural preservation, peacebuilding, and community development, saying, “Oba Haastrup’s leadership has always been a source of pride and strength for the people of Ijesaland. His life exemplifies resilience, service, and an enduring legacy that inspires traditional leadership across Osun State and Nigeria.”
The Owaloko prayed for many more years of good health, divine guidance, and impactful reign for the monarch.
He also called on sons and daughters of Ijesaland, as well as well-wishers across Nigeria, to join in celebrating the royal father, noting that his 77th birthday is not just a milestone, but a testament to a lifetime of service.
