Busola Kola-Daisi (née Ajimobi), the first child of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has passed away at the age of 42. Reports indicate that she died in the United Kingdom following a brief illness.
Busola was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi, and the couple had three children. She served as a Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu, in her lifetime.
Her father, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, made history as the first individual to serve two consecutive terms as Governor of Oyo State, holding office from 2011 to 2019.
As of now, the Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families have not released an official statement regarding her passing. However, a close family source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, described Busola as “a loving daughter, wife, and mother who was deeply cherished by those who knew her.”
“Her passing is a huge loss to the family. She was intelligent, kind, and always had a heart for service,” the source added.
