The University of Ilesa (UNILESA) has received official approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to commence Sandwich Degree Programmes in Education.

This significant milestone marks a major step in expanding academic opportunities for aspiring educators and professionals seeking flexible study options.

  2. Agricultural Education
  3. Business Education
  4. Computer Science Education
  5. Integrated Science Education
  6. Political Science Education
  7. Economics Education
  8. Guidance and Counseling
  9. Educational Management
  10. English Language Education
  11. Social Studies Education

The Sandwich Programmes are designed to provide accessible, high-quality education for individuals balancing work, personal commitments, and academic advancement.

The University community has lauded this development as a testament to UNILESA’s growing academic reputation and commitment to producing qualified graduates for the education sector.

Commending the leadership behind the achievement, the Senior Assistant Registrar (Corporate Services & Information Unit), Babatunde Fanawopo, expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor for his visionary leadership in securing the approval.

“Heartfelt congratulations to the entire University community on this outstanding achievement. Kudos to our visionary Vice Chancellor for championing this milestone,” Fanawopo stated.

The Sandwich Programmes are expected to commence in the next academic session, providing new pathways for academic advancement in the field of Education.
