The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State is set to hold an interfaith prayer and praise programme for its candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections, with prayers scheduled for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Adeola, and other federal and state candidates.

According to a statement signed by Chief Kayode Odunaro, Media Adviser to Senator Adeola and Chairman, Media and Publicity Committee of the Ogun APC Campaign Council, the programme, tagged “Interfaith Prayer and Praise: Victory with God,” will take place on Wednesday, September 30, at the Ake Palace Pavilion, Abeokuta.

The event is expected to bring together religious leaders and artistes from the major faiths, who will offer prayers for the nation, Nigeria and APC candidates contesting at the federal and state levels.

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, is expected to serve as the Chief Host, while former governor of the state, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, will attend as Special Guest of Honour.

The organisers also listed a number of religious artistes expected to feature at the event, including Beejay Sax, Laolu Gbenjo, Tope Alabi, Lilian Nneji, Toluwasings, Soaty Arewa, Yusuf Olotu and Ahmed Alawiye Alalubarika.

The interfaith programme will feature praise renditions and prayers, with the organisers saying the gathering is intended to seek divine intervention and support for the country and APC candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
