The Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has announced that all public and private primary and secondary schools, including government technical colleges in Ogun State, will resume for the third term of the 2025/2026 academic session on Monday, April 27, 2026.
This was contained in a press statement issued by the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Abayomi A. Arigbabu, on April 22, 2026.
According to the statement, the resumption date aligns with the approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session, urging strict compliance by all schools across the state.
“The Ministry wishes to announce to the general public that all public and private primary and secondary schools as well as government technical colleges in Ogun State are to resume for third term, 2025/2026 academic session on Monday, 27th April, 2026 in line with approved Ogun State academic school calendar,” the statement read.
The government further called on parents and guardians to make necessary preparations for their wards, noting that academic activities would commence immediately without delay.
“Parents and guardians are enjoined to prepare their wards for immediate resumption as academic work will start without any delay,” the statement added.
