Babatunde, an APC Diaspora member from Ward 7, in Abeokuta North local government area of Ogun State said Senator Adeola’s commitment to improving the welfare of ordinary Nigerians through sustained empowerment programmes has further endeared him to the people of Ogun State.

According to Babatunde, the distribution of cash grants, agricultural inputs, tractors, seedlings, fertilizers and other business support packages to market men, market women and farmers demonstrate Senator Adeola’s unwavering dedication to inclusive economic development and poverty reduction.

He further stated that the empowerment scheme aligns with the global economy indices by supporting local production, strengthening micro, small and medium enterprises, and encouraging agricultural expansion.

He said in Ogun State, the programme aligns with key pillars including; Social welfare& wellbeing and Agriculture pillar of Governor Abiodun thus, taking it to another level.

Babatunde who is also the an educationist noted that Senator Adeola has consistently distinguish himself through people-oriented programmes that transcend political affiliations, stressing that his interventions in education, healthcare, infrastructure, youth development and economic empowerment did not just begin now but over the years and which have continued to make meaningful impacts across Ogun State.

He submitted that Senator Yayi’s visionary leadership endeared Ogun State indigenes in diaspora to come back home and support him, describing Senator Adeola as a leader who understands the needs of the masses and championing the cause of Nigerian youths.

He urged beneficiaries to make judicious use of the grants and equipment provided, emphasizing that the success of the programme would be measured by the sustainability of the businesses and farming ventures established through the intervention.

He also encouraged other elected representatives and political office holders to emulate Senator Adeola’s example by initiating programmes capable of improving the living standards of their constituents and stimulating local economic growth.

While reaffirming diasporans support for Senator Adeola’s developmental initiatives, the Barr. Babatunde expressed confidence that the lawmaker would continue to champion policies and programmes that uplift the people of Ogun State and contribute significantly to Nigeria’s socio-economic development.

“The Yayi Diaspora Movement is proud to identify with this remarkable initiative. At a time when many citizens are grappling with economic challenges, Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan has once again demonstrated visionary leadership by investing over N1.5 billion to empower thousands of hardworking farmers and traders across Ogun Central, Ogun East and Ogun West”.

“This programme is not merely an empowerment exercise; it is a strategic investment in food security, entrepreneurship, job creation and sustainable economic growth. The beneficiaries will not only improve their livelihoods but also contribute meaningfully to the economic development of their respective communities.

“It is high time the diasporans come back home to support the aggressive transformative agenda of the Senator. Indeed, this is Ogun State of our dream.”
