Tragedy struck in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, as a couple, identified as Caleb and Tate, lost their lives in a violent domestic altercation that turned fatal.

Sources revealed that Caleb, a security officer, and his wife, Tate, were involved in a heated argument that escalated into a deadly confrontation.

The fight took a gruesome turn when Tate reportedly cut off her husband’s manhood, prompting Caleb to retaliate by stabbing her multiple times on the head, neck, and private parts.

Although the exact cause of the altercation remains unknown, residents expressed shock over the horrific incident, describing it as a deeply disturbing case of domestic violence.

“We still cannot believe what happened. They were a couple, and now they are both gone in such a brutal manner,” a neighbor who preferred anonymity said.

The remains of the deceased have been deposited at the morgue of a popular hospital in Ado-Ekiti as authorities continue investigations into the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
