Ibadan – A female teacher in one of the international schools in Ibadan, Oyo State, identified only as Folakemi, was on Tuesday kidnapped by gunmen at Oshin area, along Adebajo Street, New Bodija, Ibadan.

According to a statement from the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Olayinka Ayanlade, the victim, who resides in the Akobo area, was traveling in her Toyota RAV4 to school when she was intercepted by a Toyota Highlander SUV carrying three armed men, one of whom was masked. Another report indicated that she was on her way to a church programme.

“The masked gunman forced the victim out of her vehicle and abducted her, while leaving behind another female occupant. They also took the victim’s personal belongings, including phones,” DSP Ayanlade said.
