Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has reported to the Ogun State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Eleweran, Abeokuta, in connection with an ongoing police investigation.
Confirming his arrival, the spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, Omolola Odutola, disclosed in a statement on Wednesday that Portable arrived at precisely 1:23 p.m. on February 19, 2025.
Although the details of the investigation remain undisclosed, Odutola assured that the process would be handled in accordance with the law.
“We are following due process, and further updates will be provided as necessary. The public should remain calm and avoid unnecessary speculation,” she stated.
She further warned against the spread of misinformation, emphasizing the importance of maintaining public order.
“We advise against circulating unverified information. The Command is dedicated to transparency and ensuring justice is served,” Odutola added.
