The Ogun State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, popularly known as OGUNCCIMA, has announced plans to hold its 42nd Annual General Meeting, Conference and Investiture Ceremony on Thursday, July 9, 2026, where Elder Solomon Olatunji Adeniyi will be inaugurated as the 21st President of the chamber.
The announcement was contained in an invitation issued by the President of the Remo Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Omo’ba Musibau Abiola Ogundeko, and the Executive Members of RECCIMA on behalf of the President and entire members of OGUNCCIMA.
According to the organisers, the AGM will begin at 10:00am, while the investiture ceremony is scheduled for 12:00 noon at the Hill Top Hotel Event Hall, 1, Omoba Daisi Akintan Road, off Oba Erinwole Awolesi Road, Sagamu, Ogun State.
The invitation read, “The President, Omo’ba Musibau Abiola Ogundeko and the Executive Members of RECCIMA on behalf of the President and entire members of OGUNCCIMA request the pleasure of your company to the AGM/Conference of OGUNCCIMA and Investiture of Elder Solomon Olatunji Adeniyi as the 21st OGUNCCIMA President.”
The organisers also disclosed that Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, would attend the ceremony as the Special Guest of Honour.
It added that Prince Bayo Ikujenyo would serve as the Chairman of the Day, while the Ogun State Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Hon. Emmanuel Adebola Sofela, would attend as the Guest of Honour.
The Ogun State Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. Bolu Owotomo, is also expected at the event alongside captains of industry, business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and other stakeholders.
The annual gathering is expected to provide a platform for members of the organised private sector to deliberate on issues affecting commerce, industry, mines and agriculture, while promoting stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors for economic development in Ogun State.
