Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has reaffirmed that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is producing tangible results across key sectors, while vowing to attract more infrastructure projects to Ogun West Senatorial District.

Speaking through his Chief of Staff and Baaroyin of Imala Kingdom, Chief Kayode Odunaro, at the 20th coronation anniversary of the Omola of Imala, Oba Moses Adegboyega Olabode (mni), the senator emphasized that critical reforms by the Tinubu-led administration are yielding gains despite earlier economic difficulties.

“The policies of President Tinubu are gradually yielding positive results and I am glad that those results are being felt in my senatorial district.”

“In the form of road constructions, school buildings, health facilities, modern markets, new police stations, transformers and solar streetlights, we have completed over 250 infrastructure projects in Ogun West. More are underway,” Senator Adeola stated.

He pointed to the removal of fuel subsidy, stabilization of the naira, and ongoing federal infrastructure investments as strategic decisions that have helped avert economic collapse and gradually lowered the prices of some goods.

“As part of the Renewed Hope Agenda Infrastructure Initiatives, I want to reassure our people that the long-deplorable federal road from Rounda in Abeokuta to Olorunda, and from Olorunda to Imala, will be constructed,” he promised.

Also present at the event were Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, and Oba Olufemi Omolade, the Olubara of Ibara.

The Olu of Ilaro, who also chairs the Ogun State Traditional Council, praised Oba Olabode for fostering development in his domain.

He particularly lauded the monarch’s efforts in facilitating the proposed foreign-sponsored Providence International University, Imala.

“I am confident that the road leading to Imala will soon be reconstructed as promised,” Oba Olugbenle said, urging residents to register and vote in future elections to ensure inclusive governance.

In his address, Oba Olabode appreciated the dignitaries and guests who graced the anniversary and prayed for continued success of President Tinubu and Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administrations.

He reaffirmed his commitment to the proposed university project in Imala, describing it as his legacy contribution to national educational development.
