Africa’s fast-rising free-to-air sports network, Sporty TV, has unveiled an extensive package of premium sports content for Nigerian audiences, promising access to top international football competitions at no cost.

Speaking during a press conference held in Lagos on Friday, the network’s Executive Representative in Nigeria, Oluchi Enuha, said the new initiative would redefine sports broadcasting both locally and across the continent.

Enuha explained that Sporty TV’s latest offerings include over 600 live sports events, among them the English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, German Bundesliga, South American football, and the final four Super Eagles’ 2026 World Cup qualifiers. He added that other global tournaments like the FIFA Club World Cup and the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals would also be freely available to viewers.

“This is an unprecedented delivery of premium content at no cost to the Nigerian viewer,” Enuha said. “We are transforming the broadcasting landscape across Africa.”

He also announced a strategic partnership between Sporty TV and the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) alongside other major international media organizations. According to him, the collaboration is aimed at setting new standards in free-to-air television by ensuring high-quality content, production excellence, and value for both viewers and advertisers.

Enuha emphasized that Sporty TV’s approach combines cutting-edge technology and world-class production to make sure every Nigerian household has access to live global sporting events without subscription barriers.

With this development, Sporty TV appears set to change the way Nigerians watch sports, giving fans across the country an opportunity to enjoy world-class football and other global sporting events for free.
