Arsenal Football Club has officially confirmed that 20 players across its men’s, women’s, and academy squads will be departing the Emirates Stadium at the end of June when their current contracts expire.

The North London club made the announcement on Tuesday via a statement on its official website, just ahead of the Premier League’s annual release of the full list of out-of-contract players.

“This is a moment to say thank you to every player moving on for their dedication and service to the club,” Arsenal said. “They have all represented Arsenal in different capacities — from the first team to our Under-18s — and will always remain part of the Arsenal family.”

Among those departing are senior men’s team members Jorginho and Kieran Tierney, alongside Raheem Sterling, who joined on a short-term basis. Also included in the list are academy players such as Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, Jack Henry-Francis, and Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand.

On the women’s side, the previously announced exits of Lina Hurtig, Amanda Ilestedt, and Teyah Goldie were also restated.

The club also acknowledged that negotiations are ongoing with three players whose contracts are also set to expire at the end of June — Chloe Kelly, Thomas Partey, and Michal Rosiak. Arsenal said discussions are “progressing” and updates will be shared “once matters are finalised between all parties.”

“We appreciate the ongoing conversations with these players,” the statement continued. “Their future with the club will be confirmed in due course.”

The club ended its statement by expressing gratitude:

“We thank all the players leaving us for their contributions to the club. You will always be part of the Arsenal family, and we wish you all the best of health and happiness in your futures.”
