The Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law, Chrisland University, Dr. Kayode Akinsola, has declared his intention to contest for the office of Vice President II (Government Relations) of the Lisabi Grammar School Old Students Association (LIGSOSA).
While unveiling his agenda titled The LIGSOSA RISE Project, Dr. Akinsola expressed his readiness to serve with competence, integrity, and passion, pledging to reconnect members, promote unity, and advance the association’s relevance nationally and globally.
“My vision is simple yet profound. We must strengthen our bonds, energize our platforms, and elevate LIGSOSA to greater heights,” Akinsola said.
According to him, the RISE Project focuses on Reconnect, Inclusion, Support, and Empowerment—key pillars he believes will reposition the association under the able leadership of his preferred Presidential candidate, Engr. Kayode Adeniji, FNSE.
Dr. Akinsola, a pioneer National President of the National Association of Egba Students (NAES) during his days at the University of Ibadan, also has leadership experience from postgraduate engagements outside Africa.
He emphasized his commitment to using his connections within government circles to project LIGSOSA’s name and attract opportunities that benefit all members.
“I’m driven by a genuine passion to uplift LIGSOSA and foster unity across all generations. Leadership is about service, not perpetuity. We must say no to those who want to sit tight in positions forever,” Akinsola declared.
He urged members to vote wisely by electing competence, inclusiveness, and bridge-building leadership.
“Let us vote for competence. Let us vote for unity. Let us vote Dr. Kayode Akinsola for Vice President II of LIGSOSA,” he concluded.
